At All Things Biology we believe in making writing more accessible. Whether your goal is to bulk up your CV or you have a passion for writing and want people to read your work, All Things Biology may be the place for you to showcase your writing!
We will publish original blogs/ opinion pieces and essays which share your view on a range of scientific or literary topics. We recommend including interviews!
All Things Biology is not intended as a platform for publishing research undertaken during undergraduate or postgraduate degree programmes. If an article refers to unpublished data, the author must be able to obtain authorization for submission from their project supervisor or other senior academic member of staff.
How It Works:
1. Come up with a topic.
2. Write!
3. Make sure to reference your sources using Vancouver-style referencing!
5. Once you have finished writing, submit your work via the form below for it to be assessed. If it meets the requirements, we will post your work on our website in the suitable category (All Things Biology for science related content and All Things Literature for literature/ the arts related content).
A few things to note:
- To ensure everything published is factually correct, everything is fact-checked to the best of our capacity. If we find something is misrepresented we will reach out to the writer and request a correction. Be aware that this will take time as we are a small team of volunteers!
- The use of plagiarism and AI to generate content is forbidden. Work with evidence of this will be rejected.
- Everyone who contributes and works for All Things Biology is a volunteer. No one will receive any payment, All Things Biology acts as a platform to showcase your work only.
