At All Things Biology we believe in making science more accessible. Whether your goal is to bulk up your CV or you have a passion for writing and want people to read your work, All Things Biology may be the place for you to showcase your writing!
We will publish original blogs/ magazine articles or review articles which share your view on scientific topics. We recommend including interviews!
All Things Biology is not intended as a platform for publishing research undertaken during undergraduate or postgraduate degree programmes. If an article refers to unpublished data, the author must be able to obtain authorization for submission from their project supervisor or other senior academic member of staff.
How It Works:
1. Come up with a topic.
2. Once you decide on a topic, fill out the form at the bottom of this page and we will confirm if the topic matches our requirements via email.
3. Write!
4. Make sure to reference your sources using Vancouver-style referencing!
5. Once you have finished writing, email your work to contact@allthingsbiology.com for it to be assessed. If it meets the requirements, we will publish your work on our website.
A few things to note:
- To ensure everything published is factually correct, everything is fact-checked and if we find something is misrepresented we will reach out to the writer and request a correction. Be aware that this will take time as we are a small team of volunteers!
- The use of plagiarism and AI to write content is forbidden. Work with evidence of this will be rejected.
- Everyone who contributes and works for All Things Biology is a volunteer. No one will receive any payment, All Things Biology acts as a platform to showcase your work.
